It is delivered free to every home, business, and apartment complex in Ladera Ranch, and extra copies are also available at many businesses within the community. The publishing schedule is designed to reach the homes on or just before the first of each month.

MISSION STATEMENT
Ladera Times is dedicated to:
o Covering community news, activities, school news, sports, family events, and related stories in Ladera Ranch and its immediate environs;
o Serving as an advocate for the safe, productive, enjoyable, and sustainable development and use of community parks and facilities;
o Publishing news stories and features that support the inherent concepts of family values, health, welfare, and safety, good consumerism and citizenship, and energy conservation;
o Providing a voice for members of the residential and business communities.

RULES GOVERNING SUBMISSIONS
Signed letters, articles, photos, and news tips are not only welcomed but encouraged. See "Contact Us" above for ways to send us information.
o All submissions must contain the name, address, phone number, and signature of the person submitting the material. Email addresses would also be appreciated.
o Photos should be high quality color photos. If sending a photo by email, please send it in a jpeg, tiff, or gif format. Photos send by email should have a minimum resolution of at least 200 pixels per inch, although 300 to 400 pixels per inch is better. When sending more than one photo, please send them in separate emails. Be sure to include the full names, addresses, and phone numbers of individuals identified in the photos, along with a detailed description of the photo itself.
o Ladera Times reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit editorial material, photos, letters to the editor, and/or advertisements as it deems appropriate and consistent with the editorial policy of the publication.
RULES GOVERNING THE USE OF PHOTOS
o The Ladera Times follows a policy of making photos available for legitimate community purposes providing proper credit is given to the publication and the photographer (i.e., "Photo courtesy of the Ladera Times").
o People who appear in these photos can receive a high-quality, reproduceable electronic copy for their own personal use by emailing us at LaderaTimes@cox.net.
