Ladera Times Is THE Source for Ladera Ranch News
The only real source of news and information about Ladera Ranch is the Ladera Times, Ladera's hometown community newspaper. The February 2012 issue was delivered to every home, business and apartment complex in Ladera Ranch on Thursday, February 2. If you didn't receive your free copy, you can pick one up at most stores in Ladera Ranch, but hurry, they go quickly. This month's issue has a feature on the the closing of Infusion and the people who celebrated it's contribution to Ladera Ranch
, a survey of Ladera women on their wishes for Valentine's Day, an in depth interview of Darrell Issa, Ladera Ranch's new congressman-to-be, as well as the ever popular Police Blotter, and many of your favorite monthly columns. To view a PDF of the issue online, click on February 2012 Ladera Times (allow time for the file to download). Well, Not 'til Reelected
Meet Darrell Issa, Ladera Ranch's New Congressman
When Ladera Ranch Republicans vote in the June primary election, they'll see Congressman Darrell Issa's name on the ballot for reelection instead of Ken Calvert. That's because the redistricting changes, following the 2010 U.S. Census, put Ladera Ranch in the newly-formed 49th Congressional District of California (see map), represented by Congressman Issa, instead of the 44th District represented by Congressman Calvert. He may be opposed, but the popular five-term Congressman is likely to win reelection no matter who runs agaiunst him in the Republican primary or the November General Election. For an in depth interview with our likely new congressman, click on Congressman Issa.
