Two New Businesses Opening in Mercantile West:
Serene Family Dentistry and Kim's ATA Martial Arts
The mix of shops in Mercantile West continues to change as Pacific Whey restaurant closed its doors at the end of February, while two new businesses, Serene Family Dentistry and Kim's ATA Martial Arts academy prepare for early March Openings.
Serene Family Dentistry, Opens March 4
Dr. Azita Ebrahimi has announced that her Serene Family Dentistry office will open March 4 (2010) in Mercantile West at the corner of Mercantile Way & Keystone Drive at 25662 Crown Valley Parkway, Suite H-4. A 1994 graduate from the University of Minnesota with honors, Dr. Ebrahimi and has been in private dental practice for over 15 years. As an assistant professor, Dr. Ebrahimi has also experienced the teaching aspect of dentistry. She provides dentistry at an affordable and optimal level for everyone in the family.
With extensive continuing education and hands on experience with general pediatrics, early orthodontics, and prevention of decay in children, Dr. Ebrahimi is able to assist in providing a life time of excellent dental health for children.
"Our team is focused on providing a kid-friendly and comfortable environment for our pediatric and adult customers alike," Dr. Ebrahimi told the Ladera Times, explaining that she sold her successful practice in Minnesota and moved to Ladera Ranch six months ago.
Kim's ATA Martial Arts, Opens March 1
Forty one years ago, the American Taekwondo Association was formed with the dream of changing one million lives through martial arts instructions.
Since then, hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children have grown into "better people through the study of such tenants as honor, integrity, courtesy, and perseverance," said Nelson Kim of ATA Black Academy.

He has been training the martial arts for over 30 years and has a fourth degree black belt. He won the World Championship in 200 and has been doing his best to give back to the community some of the knowledge he has gained.
Now located in Ladera, Mr. Kim plans on teaching the community self defense, child safety, and physical fitness, all in a fun, structured environment to help his students develop the skills to become successful in school, home, and their day-to-day lives.
