The Ladera Ranch Grand Prix of cycling has completed it's nine year of competitive racing by attracting some of the top racers in the world to try their might against the elite of SoCal.

The race was won this year by Brian McCulloch, 33, shown above crossing the finish line and in the inset on the right wih Ryan Miller, organizer and one of the creators of the event. Second place went to Tyler Locke, 29; and Third place to Robert Freeman, 19.

The SmartStop Self Storage Ladera Ranch Grand Prix is unique in that it offers a closed course on the roads of a planned community.

Several categories from beginner Category 5 racers, 55/60+, Women, and of course the event of the day with Professional riders from around the country battling it out on the .7 mile looped course. In addition to the exciting elite racing, each year the Ladera Ranch Grand Prix presented by SmartStop included several divisions of kids races for youngsters from around the neighborhood to earn bragging rights for the year, and tell their friends they are the fastest on their bikes.
