Ladera Boy Scout Pack 689 Toured Battleship  USS Iowa

Ladera Ranch's Boy Scouts of America Pack
689 toured Camp Battleship On USS Iowa June
20-21 to learn the daily routines of American
Navy sailors. Campers were able to stand
watch and eat in the mess deck. They
learned about signaling from the signal
bridge and explored the basics of naval
gunnery. The tour and activities were both
educational and historical.

Pack 689 is open to Ladera residents at Chaparral Elementary School and LRES. All family members can attend the pack meetings. Dens are established in groups of 5-10 boys by grade level (not age). Registration and information is available online at http://cubpack689.com.
